Elena grew up in Metairie, Louisiana. She was on St. Martin Episcopal School’s high school cross country and track teams. After a long running hiatus, Elena joined Louisiana Running Company’s run group in late July 2011. Since then she has recommitted herself to running more consistently. Elena will take you through her journey of getting back into shape as she trains for the Rock and Roll half marathon and beyond.
